Advises the County Transportation Commission on the expenditure of funds for bicycle projects, reviews city and county road projects for bicycle compatibility, and several other projects designed to encourage and support bicycling as a means of transportation. Room (1st Wednesday of each month). Coalition of agencies dedicated to
helping motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians safely share the road. School
education program, motorist education program, night lights task force,
low cost helmet program, etc. |

| Tuesdays, 10am | Tuesday Road Rides | Multi-level bicycle training ride 10am. Train or just ride
for fun, 25-40 miles. Moderately paced with regroupings and lunch stop
(as in bring money for...). Now departs from the parking lot on the road
that leads to Nisene Marks--no, not in the park but just off of Soquel
Drive, behind Pacific Rim Buffet, across from the Aptos Community Park.

First Tuesday of the month the ride starts at a different location, just

| First Sunday of each month | MBOSC Monthly Trail Work | Help maintain some of the State's finest off-road cycling trails. Meet at 9:45am in Wilder Ranch parking lot to work approximately four hours. Bring work gloves, long pants, long shirts, lunch, hat, water, and a great attitude. Free swag. Community rides are spontaneously ocurring events known to happen on a regular basis and are not sanctioned by the Santa Cruz County Cycling Club unless specifically noted as a club ride. The club assumes no responsibility for the actions of riders or occurrences on these rides. It is strongly suggested that all riders wear ANSI/Snell approved helmets while riding their bikes.
