SCMC - 2005 Rider Comments
Wonderful crew! Very helpful. Puts things in perspective. Zayante Rd. appeared to be "flat". Please do it again next year.
The gentleman at the top of Jamison Creek Rd. with water was THE BEST!! Just had the greatest attitude toward all the riders. He was awesome!
Tougher than Markleville!!!
The PB&J in Saran wrap was great because I could bring it with me and eat it on the road. More packable food would be nice. All the people supporting the ride were great!
Excellent support. Had a great time. I liked the ice before climbing Zayante. Great route!
Good food. Nice weather. Friendly volunteers. What more could we ask for? Life is good!
The 100k route was excellent, fun and challenging. Instead of sugary snacks like cookies, I would have preferred nuts and dried fruit. The mini muffins at the lunch stop were excellent. And of course, the burrito and ice cream were a treat! Great ride-thanks!
The route would have been enhanced by crowds of cheering, adoring fans, and the occasional band or orchestral quartet. A swimming pool up at the fire camp above Jamison Creek Rd., a tow rope up the grade, the occasional cool thundershower, massage tables at the high school and an all night party with cabaret show. Not asking much.
Great route - very scenic and challenging! Volunteer staff was very friendly and helpful - thank you. Food: cantaloupe good, watermelon good, oranges good, burritos at the finish very good!
This ride is awesome. You beat the Death Ride for toughness. Jamison Creek Rd. kicked my butt. I hated the hills, loved the descents. Awesome ride.
Great ride! Will be back next year.
