Tour de Max Logo
Maximum fun. Maximum challenge. Maximum Elevation Gain (not really, but plenty nonetheless). Maximum benefit for the great programs sponsored by the Lance Armstrong Foundation. In memory of Max Yonker, a great survivor. The Tour de Max is the second edition of an exciting annual bay area bicycling event. This year we'll have two exciting ride options: a Metric Century and a Half-Metric tour of the San Francisco Bay Area mid-peninsula’s most scenic roads. The Metric Century will include both the Page Mill Road and Tunitas Creek Road climbs!   Advance registration only; sign up now at Active.com

Ride the Rogue

Experience the unique beauty of Southern Oregon! Take in the wonders that the Rogue Valley has to offer by participating in the century, metric century, 30-mile ride or short, family- friendly route through the park. Ride a relatively flat course through forests, along rivers, and across valleys! Finish the ride with a feast fit for all appetites. Make it a weekend and enjoy fishing, rafting, wine-tasting, watching Shakespeare, and many other activities that are presented as part of the Rogue River Valley festival. Proceeds benefit the Rogue River Recreational Corridor and Greenway, an expansion of the bike/pedestrian paths spanning the entire length of the Rogue Valley.
Note: This one is not local but supports a great cause and the Rogue Valley in September makes for a memorable ride.
