Charlie, Bear Creek, 9, Big Basin and Jamison from Gateway) Let's honor our veterans by enjoying life through the liberty of pursuing happiness in the mountains. The A ride includes Mountain Charlie, Bear Creek, Highways 9 & 236 into Big Basin, Jamison Creek and return via Empire Grade. It will be 70 miles and 7500 feet of elevation gain.
