Start at 9 a.m. from CCC, Jade Street.
Please join me at 8:45 am at the Capitola Community Center for a 9 am roll.
The Capitola Community Center is located at 4400 Jade St, Capitola, CA 95010.
There are bathroom and water, as well as ample parking.
We should be riding under a clear blue sky.
It will be a little on the cool side at the start and in the shade (possibly in the mid to upper 40s), but it could feel balmy as we get to the more exposed sections of Eureka Canyon, so dress with a couple of layers.
The A ride will be doing EC + Mt Bache/Loma Prieta, and/or a return via Laurel Glen and Rodeo Gulch, depending on how your legs feel. This ride should be about 55 miles and just under 6000 feet.
The B ride is just the Eureka Canyon route and will be about 42 miles and 3300 feet according to RWGPS estimates.
Note that the link for the A route doesn't have the Mt Bache/ Loma Prieta extra credit in it thus doesn't have the right distance/elevation if you were to do that extra credit.
We can talk about food stop options (Summit store before the descent back, Beer Thirty at the end or anything else) at the start of the ride, but there will be a regroup at the Corralitos Market before we start to climb Eureka Canyon, and another one at the Summit store).
