Ride starts at 9 a.m. from the Bicycle Trip. Please park your car in the Whole Foods parking lot next door as the bike shop's parking is limited (or, better yet, ride to the start!). The route will be published here soon.
SCCCC will have a table set up at The Bicycle Trip's 24th Annual Bike Fest which starts at 11 a.m. and includes a BBQ, raffle, vendor fair, bike stunt show, and more.
A/B RIDE:
Please print the following for Saturday's B ride, although I can't tell you exact mileage...
From The Bicycle Trip:
Take Soquel Avenue west across San Lorenzo River and enter Riverwalk going south;
Exit Riverwalk at Kaiser Arena, ride to and through Roundabout and up hill
to West Cliff Drive;
Ride West Cliff Drive, turning right on Swanton, left on Delaware, right on Natural Bridges, left on Mission St. Extension and down slight hill; then turn right on Shaffer Road; left on Hgway 1; (be careful crossing the highway!)
Highway 1 to Davenport, pause to catch breath then proceed to Swanton Loop;
Return to Bike Trip via Delaware St., left at stop sign by the Dream Inn, go across RR bridge, down to roundabout and right at Kaiser; return to Riverwalk, exiting at Soquel Avenue, cross back over Soquel Avenue Bridge and back to Bike Trip.
Stay for lunch; enjoy the jumpers!
